AURORA BOREALIS TOURS
The Aurora Borealis is with us for most of the winter months. You can enjoy this phenomena while staying at Fox Bay Retreat whether you simply rent a private cabin on your own or indulge in a fully guided and catered Aurora tour.
With a minimum booking of 6 persons we can cater a personal, fully guided Aurora Tour that includes: airport service; a short sightseeing tour of the City ; a full meal plan and accommodation in the Fox Bay Lodge. There is a minimum of three days/four nights but this can be extended to include the full enjoyment of all the activities available.

Snowshoe hikes
Snowshoes rental for duration of your stay $25.00 per person
3 hour guided snowshoe hike $100.00 per person (2 minimum)
Snow Machine trips
3 hour guided snow machine excursion $150.00 per person (2 minimum) & 2 persons per machine – 1 person per machine $250.00 per person – 2 person minimum.
Full day (5-6 hours) snow machine trip including trail campfire and lunch – $275.00 per person – 2 person sharing a machine (2 person minimum)
One up per machine – $360.00 per person (2 person minimum)
Ice Fishing
Afternoon Ice fishing $195.00 per person – includes guide, fishing equipment, 1 day Yukon fishing license, snow machine transport to fishing location – tent shelter available. 1 day fishing license required $10.00

2 Hour Dog mushing $150.00 per person (4 minimum)

Dressing for the trip
We realize that not everyone owns suitable clothing for our northern environment. We have added the option of a winter clothing package. This consists of boots, gloves or mitts, snow pants, winter parka, hat or toque. $110.00 per person. We will require; shoe size, height, weight, clothes size (s.m.l.xl.xxl at the time of reserving the trip)
General information and conditions.
If you are taking part in any of the outdoor activities, you will be required to sign a liability waiver form.
Reservations require a 25% deposit at the time of reservation with full payment 30 days in advance of the reservation date. The deposit is refundable, less a 10% administration fee, if your trip is cancelled 30 days prior to your original reservation date. If cancelled within the 30 day period, a credit of 50% of the deposit may be used toward our services and those of Kanoe People Ltd – www.kanoepeople.com within 1 year from the date of the original reservation.
